 Introduction

We are located in NY state near the NY, NJ, and PA. border in the Tri state area on a good sizable piece of property. The area is rich in natural History. Our house sits by the original road that the first settlers in the area traveled on. There is a nearby lake and real old cemetery not even a quarter of a mile from our house. Indian raids invaded the area in the 1700's. Our property was once part of a childrens camp that was started in the early 1900s, and the old erie railroad once ran through our backyard.

We in no way claim to be proffessional ghost hunters, this is something that we do in our spare time, but let's look at some facts. There is no proof that the only place you can find ghosts are in haunted houses or cemeteries, or that only troubled spirits remain here. If that was true why would anyone go see nationally known physics John Edwards or Sylvia Brown to hear from their loved ones? It's not because they believed their loved ones were in some haunted house or cemetery or somewhere else. I'm sure that there are houses that are haunted by troubled spirits whom in their lifetime met up with some horrific death, and that there are also evil spirits wandering the earth whom give you an eeri uneasy feeling when they enter a room. Most of us have sensed them at one time or another.

Why isn't there more pictures of ghosts and why are very few caught on film? Most pictures you see of ghosts are caught by accident by someone filming a family event or other event and the ghost just happens to show up in the picture. There are also ghost hunters whom take time out of their daily lives to prove the existence of these incredible entities.

There are many reasons why people want to know about the existence of ghosts and our story is just one example. Different things happened to different people whom live in our house. Many times in our house we would feel someone breath hot air into our ear. On occassion the tv would shut off and on and things would fall or come flying at us. We could see flashes of someone go by us or shadows moving in the dark. Some of us could feel someone sitting down or standing on the bed while trying to sleep. There were times when some of us felt an entity grab their arm or touch their head or another part of the body. Many times after just retiring to bed we would hear what sounded like pitter patter of foot steps going across our porch or other areas of the house. Sometimes we would hear whispering or low talking in the silence of the night. These things didn't happen all the time, but they happened. Here is another incidence. My dad was an auto mechanic. The week after his death I was sitting in the kitchen just off the hallway and seen emergency car lights flashing in the dark outside my hallway window. I went outside because I thought the police were outside, and instead I seen my dads emergency car lights on flashing away with no one in it. This happened two more times that week. Then I came home from the store one night and turned in the driveway and there was a vehicle that blinded me with their headlights on. They just sat there so I cautiously came down the driveway. I thought who can that be. I looked and it was my father's car with the headlights on and no one was in the car. My father's death was caused by that car. He had emphysema and was working on it when he lost his breath for the last time. We ended up disconnecting the battery cable. There are many people whom have experience the things that we have. With so many people having these experiences ghosts have to be in more places than in a haunted house. Out of the billions of people over the centuries that passed on there has to be more than a few ghosts.

Jesus said the very air you breath is full of spirits. The dead were also seen walking the streets with Jesus after his ressurection and many people recognized many of them. God said there is terrestrial bodies and celestial bodies, meaning heavenly and earthly bodies, but that is another subject all together.

We had seen on Tv and online people capturing pictures of ghosts with their camera and decided to give it a try with no success. We tried a few different cameras and nothing showed up in them. Then we read where ghost hunters usually take at least 50 to 100 plus pictures to capture a ghost on film. We thought there had to be an easier way than this. Then by accident one day, my daughter was using the webcam and it was just getting dark. She started snapping pictures to see how the new webcam worked and she looked at the picture on the monitor and there was this tall man standing there dressed in what appeared to be old fashion clothing. She turned around and looked to see whom just came in. There was nobody there. She saved the picture to the desktop. We showed it to my husband and he asked me when and where the picture was taken. I told him in the hallway last night. He was surprised and said you sure someone didn't break in? I said no one broke in it is a ghost.

That was the answer we were looking for. A webcam. It could take a snapshot every second and we could take a hundred or more snapshots at a time. If a ghost showed up the camera would be fast enough to capture a picture of it. The next night we tried again and captured more ghostly images. We tried different lightings but many of the images were too faint with more light, and we could see through the ghosts more, so we kept the light dim. Some pictures we didn't use any light at all. Some of the pictures came out pixalated but we could still see the images. Alot of the pictures are clearer than when I stood in the back of the hallway as a comparison picture in the same lighting. The dark changed some of my features and you could barely tell it was me, so if I see someone that looks familiar that passed on it could be someone I know. Although we snap over a hundred pictures at a time, we only save a few from each session.

We believe that many of these ghost people are just passing through, they're not the main ghosts whom hang around the property. I'm hoping we capture a good picture of someone I know to prove once and for all that ghosts are real. There is no way the camera could make up arms and legs and put them in the right spot, and make up so many different faces unless of course the camera were magic. Or like someone suggested, that our hallway could be a doorway or something to different dimensions. We didn't see anything in the hall before we used the D-Link cam.

Some of the entities we photographed are real scarey. There are times when we were afraid to go to sleep at night, but then I thought they must have been here all along , I just couldn't see them. Use caution when photographing ghosts. Never invite them in because they might decide to stay. If they're already there chances are you will get a picture of one or more, or maybe of some ghosts that are just passing through.
