These books include descriptions of the Romulan Star Empire, the Imperial Navy, introduction to the military culture of Romulus, starships, weapons and equipment, organization, and combat tactics. The fascinating Eridam Papers that describe the Star Empire, its government, its relations with the UFP and the Klingons, and its extent. These books cover the Romulans upto STIII The Search For Spock.

The two book set includes a 32-page Player's Intelligence Manual detailing Star Fleet beliefs about the Romulans, and a 48-page Gamemaster's Manual that tells the truth about the Romulans.

Now you can find out all about the Romulans. All you need is right here to add these mysterious aliens to Star Trek: The Role Playing Game. Included are the following:

The Romulans: Star Fleet Intelligence Sourcebook - This 32-page book contains the latest intelligence on the Romulan people, the Romulan Star Empire, and the Romulan Imperial Navy. It includes up-to-date ( upto the Star Trek III period ) information that every Star Fleet officer should know if he is to serve anywhere near the Neutral Zone or the Triangle. Its many illustrations show uniforms and equipment, as well as starships, and Romulans engaged in various activities. In the case of The Romulans, Fantasimulations Associates had no such clear direction. The original TV series episodes gave them only a very thin look at their culture, and the novels out at the time had wildly contradictory views, none of which was accepted as canon by Paramount. So FASA made it up. Lots of it. They had to. Fantasimulations Associates had to have some unified vision, and theres was approved 100% by Paramount.

(1984/September 1, 1986) The Romulans in a Pocket Folder: ISBN: 0-931787-05-X
Like many of Fasa books, this paticular print used a pocket folder to hold the two books. The contants and covers of the books are identical to the Box Set.

The Triangle, a region of the Galaxy long known for its disregard for any law but its own, is the setting for this sourcebook for "Star Trek: The Role Playing Game". The Triangle is full of renegade Romulans and Klingons, pirate kings, black-market weapon dealers, and many other unsavory characters. Among these are some small groups of organizations; The Baker's Dozen, The Mantiev Colonial Association, The Turnstile and The Imperial Klingon State.

The 96-page book containing information about the political, military, and economic goals of the three major powers bordering this neutral region of space. The largest part of the book is made up of 120 world logs of the inhabited planets of the Triangle and 30 npc character sheets for some of the more important and interesting personalities who live and do business there. 2008 The Orions

fasa2008.jpg (15010 bytes)

fasa2008A.jpg (14587 bytes)

The Book of Common Knowledge

The Book of Deep Knowledge

(1987) ISBN: 0-931787-08-44
"There are three kinds of people I don't want to face while making a deal," master trader Carter Winston once said. "Vulcan bankers, Tellarite lawyers, or anybody Orion."

The Orions hold a unique place in the STAR TREK Universe. Their planets sit between the Federation and KIingon Empire, they tend to ignore political boundaries, they tend to do anything if it will lead to profit. There is no central Orion authority, and so families and clans do pretty much what they want. Slavery is still common in Orion society. This two-book Set includes The Book of Common Knowledge for players and The Book of Deep Knowledge for gamemasters. The Book of Common Knowledge details the facts as any but true Orions would know them. The Book of Deep Knowledge provides the true facts concerning all aspects of Orion life, society, politics, and economics.

The Orions supplement for Star Trek: The Role Playing Game consists of two books.

The Book of Common Knowledge (80-pages) contains information that is known to Federation, Klingon, and Romulan characters. Inside are the Orions' spocial structure, a racial history dating back hundreds of thousands of years, descriptions of trade on Rigel IV (where alien races have traded for millennia), details on Orion slavery, and numerous planetary descriptions.

The Book of Deep Knowledge (48-pages) provides that information known only to the gamemaster and Orion characters. It fills the gaps of Orion history, presents the Orion character generation system, describes Orion families, corporations, and governments, and the exciting green slave women. The book also sets the record straight on Orion pirates.

Whether seductive slaves or merchants extraordinaire, Orions are the most treacherous, egocentric, opportunistic, materialistic, hedonistic, and barbaric beings in the galaxy. Play them to the hilt with The Orions.

2011 The Federation

The Federation

(September 1, 1986) 128 pages ISBN: 0-931787-30-0

Spanning over 5,000,000 cubic parsecs in size, encompassing thousands of unique planetary systems... this is the Federation... the most ambitious political and cultural experiment ever attempted. This booklet contains comprehensive information that has never before appeared in a single volume.

The Federation covers the entire history of the Federation, Articles of Federation, current Federation interstellar relations, the governmental and bureaucratic structure of the Federation, as well as providing information on individuals who have made their mark -- for good or ill on Federation history and statistics on the major civilizations and over 500 planets within Federation space, and much, much more.

As a primary information source, an easy-to-use reference guide, and a compendium of facts and figures found nowhere else, this booklet synthesizes hundreds of sources, past and present, to make the Federation a complete political, military, and cultural entity.

Included is extensive background information on the founding members and their cultures, with detailed examination of Vulcans, Terrans, Andorians, Tellarites, Edoans, Caitians, and many other races.

This is a 144-page softcover book.

About Contents: The entire book isn't paticularly arranged as an RPG book in its format. This book has no actual rule updates and few stats. Its more of a descriptive book rather than a clear and understandable set of new game rules/instructions. If any book of the Star Trek line has become uncanon, this one is it. Paramount nearly completly ignored this book. Examples of clearly wrong information; Betazoids do not come from Haven II, they come from Betazed. "Ultra Warp" does not exist, nor does it come from Transwarp drive. Transwarp was later determined abandoned back in ST IV. Theres no Medusans Navigator/Pilot on board every Galaxy-class starship, no matter how interesting an idea that might be. So the material in the ST:TNG Officers' Manual was contradicted by Canon Sources, the First Year source book was also contradicted by Canon Sources, the series actualy contradicted itself. Even if some of the information in this book may have been Paramounts Ideas for a new show, it was changed after the writing of this book. This is evident when Paramount rush getting a series started and it usualy takes them 1 to 3 seasons to establish guidelines and process feedback and have a laps of common sense. Plus FASA through alot of ideas in it as well.
This Book was pulled from further publishing when Paramount had a chance to look it over. FASA didn't have official approval at the time FASA started selling the book. The book was said to be recalled and destroyed. Apperantly many additional copys where printed or salaved before being destroyed.
