Energy Independent housing

 

Probably the system wind energy - heat of fusion - electric energy (with a stirling engine) - flywheel  is the

best system to have indipendent energy.

Total electric efficiency of the process is around 20 %  considering these efficiences:

wind - electric energy - heat of fusion =  85 %

heat of fusion - electric energy = 40 %

electric energy - flywheel energy - electric energy = 80 %

Lost electric energy through the container of the salt (under vacuum) =  20 %

 

 

NaCl easily stores great quantity of wind energy

 

NaCl stores around 250 kwh/m3 of energy through its heat of fusion that become 100 kwh/m3 of electric energy!

Also other 150 kwh/m3 of remaining energy is useful for all water heating applications.

Electric resistances placed in the container of the salt easily convert all wind energy into heat of fusion!

 

Wind easily produces great quantity of energy

 

If wind velocity is around 72 km/h then it can produce around 96 kwh/m2 in one day!

If wind velocity is around 36 km/h then it can produce around 12 kwh/m2 in one day that is high the same! 

Wind energy can be taken from a little revolving tower on the terrace.

Important: the average wind velocity is not important to calculate energy.

 

Flywheel has some great advantages.          

 

It has the same properties of a battery!

Its energetic efficiency is high, it's totally around 80 % (electric energy -  flywheel energy - electric energy).

Its only problem is to store great quantity of energy that is solved with the salt.

This system only needs a flywheel that stores less than 1 kwh!
