Dylan found Kelly’s kitten asleep on his desk. How it kept getting into his office he didn’t know, but thankfully nothing had been destroyed this time.
Sighing, he sat down, stroking the kitten, who began purring as he contemplated the months past. The kitten climbed up to his chest, still purring.
“Am I as obsessive as Metis? No, I don’t keep my crew prisoner.” But I have manipulated them, he thought.
The kitten meowed and he looked into its beautiful gold eyes. The purr grew louder, more rhythmic. He couldn’t look away, the purr was surrounding him, filling his thoughts...
