Rommie was strolling down the corridor. She really had nothing special to do, so she just enjoyed her moment of relaxation. After all battles, they've been through in the last few months, it felt good, not having anything to worry about. Everything was serene and quiet.
But, suddenly she heard a voice, coming from afar. It was a familiar voice, yes, but ….. not that way! It was trying to do something what it usually never did - singing! She paused for a moment, not quite believing her perceptions. The voice continued singing. Now she was sure. Yes, it was Dylan's voice.. and he was singing!
Not enough that he's been singing, he's been singing awful! It sounded just like a cat, caught jumping out of a trash bin, but unfortunately the lid closed a bit too soon and squeezed its tail.
Now, if THAT was singing? She shook her head and thought she'd better ignore it. After all, he had every right to be in a good mood.
"Oh, what the ……" she covered her ears, as if it would help anything. And the voice kept coming nearer, and nearer and nearer. Suddenly she saw Dylan coming around the corner, singing with passion she'd never heard in his voice before. She just stood there in deep disbelief. Dylan actually danced around the corner, waving his hands in the air, as if he'd been conducting an orchestra, and singing his lungs out.
And IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII will always love YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.
When he saw her, he stopped abruptly, his mouth wide open, eyes still smiling.
"Dylan, do you really have to do this? Well, I know, you have the right to, but, …. please, would it be possible you do it a bit quieter?"
Dylan smiled at her, took her hands and forced her to dance with him. Not really knowing how to respond she accepted his invitation and they danced.
After a while, Dylan let her go and looked at her puzzled expression: "You see Rommie, it has been a rough time and I'm just trying to relax."
"I see, but ……"
"No but, I just felt like singing!"
"And what was the purpose of this?"
"None, really, I just ……. I just wanted to let my feelings out."
"Well, in that case ……"
"Rommie, stop fidgeting! I know I'm a lousy singer, but my heart still belongs to you!"
