Notes: I'm preparing to write a Tyr backstory, but got the idea for this piece and had to get it out of my system. Let's explore the question of why Keith is a dog lover...
Tyr awoke with the sensation of his hair being pulled and could feel movement on his pillow. Startled, he raised up. The pulling tightened.
Laying on its back, completely tangled in his dreads, was new crewmember Kelly's kitten, gleefully playing with his hair and purring in delight.
With a growl, he yanked his hair away from the kitten, who then tried to climb his bare arm to get at his hair again. He got up off of the bed and turned to grab the kitten. It was gone.
Had it walked through the wall? A tesseracting kitten? Nonsense, he thought.
