Joe: Octavia, I'm tired of having to by sneaky and secretive about our love. You deserve better than to be the 7th of 10 wives of that frellhead, Augustine. Let this kludge slave be your husband, and the father of your young child.
Octavia: I can't. If I leave my mate, the genes of my family will become suspect.
Joe: Think of yourself for once!
Octavia: If only I had met you before I married Augustine!
Joe: Fine! If you can't leave with me, then I'll escape alone.
Octavia (shows melodramatic face)
(Scene cuts)
(Niet couple in bed together)
Cleopatra: So Justinian, don't you think that being in bed with your brother's fifth wife is anti survival?
Justinian: No I don't because it is you who will allow me to survive my taking Augustine's power from him.
10 months later...
(Cuts to next scene i.e. a small dirty hut where Sandra, a kludge slave is sweeping up)
Jack: Sandra, I want to talk to you about something important.
Sandra: what?
Jack: I know that you are pregnant.
Sandra: What makes you say that?
Jack: Well, I overheard one of the uber women talking about it. Anyway, I was wondering if you'd marry me?
Sandra: What?
Jack: Marry me? I can be a good husband to you and a good dad to your baby.
Sandra: I can't. I'm going to marry Joe. He asked me after he recovered from his failed escape attempt. He's the baby's father and I love him.
Jack: What????
Sandra: You heard me. You're going to become an uncle and brother in law.
Jack: (dismayed) But he doesn't love you.
Sandra: Yes he does! He told me so!
17 months later....
(Charles, Augustine's eldest son is working out in a tight white tee shirt when Ursula, Augustine's 10th wife comes in.)
Charles: Hello. You owe me 65 thrones. I told you that Ares would win the fight!
Ursula Oh? I'll give you more than that!
(Kisses him passionately and scene cuts before it gets too risqué)
(Scene cuts to Octavia and Joe in the barn getting dressed)
Joe: Well I'd better go now. Sandra is waiting for me.
Octavia: Are you sure you have to go?
Joe: Yes.
Octavia: Why did you marry her?
Joe: to try to get over you.
Octavia: What plan worked soo well.
(Scene cuts to the hut)
Sandra: Where have you been? Why are your clothes messed up?
Joe: I uh... was working hard. (kisses Sandra on cheek) Where's the baby?
Sandra: Wait a minute! I smell perfume on you! Is there something you want to tell me?
Joe (gives that certain Uh duh look)
(Camera cuts to next scene)
(scene cuts to a party)
Julia: hello Charles
Charles: Hi
Julia: have you thought about my offer?
Charles* caught by surprise*: Well I...
Julia: I see, you need more time, but please don't dally.
(Julia goes to Jack, who is a waiter at the party and is at the hidden supply room, then pinches his butt)
Julia(whispers in his ear): I really had a great time last night.
Jack( feels uncomfortable): I'm glad you did, milady.
Julia: How about a repeat?
Jack: I'm on duty, milady.
Julia: I can fix that. Wait here.
Jack: (thinking to himself): Why do I do this? Why do I sell myself just to get some extra perks? Should I stop so that way my dignity can never be taken away? Nah.
Julia returns
Julia: I'm back. (starts to kiss him passionately)
(Cut to party)
Hera: Where is my daughter, Julia?
Augustine: She's probably talking with my son Charles.
Hera: Did you know that she wants to be his mate?
Augustine: No I didn't but I'm glad.
(Ursula comes into conversation)
Ursula: Who wants to mate with Charles?
Augustine: Hera's daughter, Julia.
Ursula: I see.
Augustine: I wonder why Charles has not accepted. He is already of age and should have been married to his first wife by now.
Ursula: Well, given that our kind doesn't approve of divorce, he probably just wants to make sure it's the right decision. Marriage should not be rushed into.
Augustine: But you asked me to become your mate only after 10 months of knowing me.
Ursula: Uh... that was different. Excuse me while I get some food.
(Goes to see Julia who looks ruffled.)
Ursula: How could you??? You know how I feel about Charles! Besides, don't you have feelings for that damn kludge waiter ??
Julia: In love, and war all is fair.
Ursula: I'll get you for this!!
Julia: Go ahead, be my guest.
(Ursula leaves and thinks to herself.)
Ursula (using voiceover): I will make that Kludge my lover and make it so that Julia gets neglected by him.
(Ursula goes to see Jack at the supply room.)
Jack: Milady? How can I help you?
Ursula: Well, I know all about you and Julia.
(Looks horrified.)
Ursula: However, if you become my lover, then I will not tell. Why don't we start now?
(Scene cuts to kitchen where Jack overseeing food serving)
Julia: Where were you all afternoon?
Jack: Uh... doing various duties...
Julia: I see. I tried to find you last night but you weren't at the usual spot.
Jack: (getting nervous) Duties....
Julia: I see, well, I'll be in the supply closet waiting.
(Julia runs into Charles's brother, Anthony.)
Anthony: So, are you thinking of mating with anyone yet. I just wanted to let you know that I'd be willing.
Julia: Actually, I've asked Charles.
Anthony: I see. What did he say?
Julia: He hasn't answered yet.
Anthony: what a fool! I'd say yes If I had the chance.
Julia: Well you won't have that chance. Well, I've got an appointment to keep.
(Cutting to pantry)
Jack: (getting dressed) Well, Ursula, I gotta go!
Ursula: Why is Julia waiting for you?
Jack: Actually, yes.
Ursula: Remember my threat...
Jack: okay I'll stay a bit longer...
(Julia at supply room waiting and pacing, Jack shows up.)
Julia: Where were you?? I don't like to be kept waiting by the man I love.
Jack: I had to help my sister. Anyway, let's get to it!
Julia: I'll forgive you: this once.
(Scene cuts to study room)
Augustine: Son, May I talk to you for a minute?
Charles: Yes?
Augustine: Why haven't you accepted Julia's offer?
Charles: I need to think.
Augustine: Could it be that you are in love with another girl who is can't be with you because she unfortunately married someone else befoe she met you?
