Cynthia McEachin (Original Cindy) is played by Valerie Mae Miller, who has also appeared in Gladiators 2000 and Hollywood Homicide.

Original Cindy is Max's best friend, and, for most of series, is the only 'normal' human close to Max (aside from Logan) to find out about Max being a transgenic.

Original Cindy obviously likes females, and is a very loyal friend. Even when she doesn't know about Max's past, she still helps to cover for Max, along with Sketchy, at Jam Pony, where the three of them work.

Throughout the entire series, Original Cindy proves herself to be a very loyal friend and helps Max a lot. In a way, they're like family in all but blood. At the end of the second season, Original Cindy is with Max and the other transgenics, after helping to shield her friend from Ames White and his people.
