Normal is played by J.C. MacKenzie, who has also appeared in Murder One and a few episodes of The Practice.

Reagan Ronald (Normal) is the owner and boss of Jam Pony, and although he keeps threatening to fire Max and the others, he only does that once to make room for Zack - and then Herbal is given his job back once Zack disappears.

Once the information gets out about the transgenics, Normal is one of the main people who's against them. However, his views clearly change at the end of the last season of Dark Angel, when he helps deliver the baby of one of the X-5s.

The fact is, Normal is quite a good character - even if he does keep threatening to fire the workers, and discriminates against transgenics.
