Lo-Ruhamah (real name: Jonathan Aven)

38 years old

Height: 6'3

Weight: 205 pounds

Fighting Style: limited style of martial arts and wrestling but focusing much on spiritual and occultic-style offensive and defensive techniques

Lo-Ruhamah has dyed white short hair, blistering green eyes, and his pale skin had a heavy dark tone to it. When out of the Arena, he often wore a white wide-brimmed cloth hat that has a black band around it.

His clothes often consist of either two types of tuxedos: black shirt and pants with a dark green tie and a white jacket and vest, or a white shirt and pants with a white tie but a black jacket and vest. It's always either one or the other, and he has many copies of those tuxedo styles in his closets (which makes sense, due to the fact that he wears them even in combat, but at least he fights with his hat off), and wears only white leather shoes. He never wears any other type of clothes, except when undergoing training or alone at home. He is muscular, but not as strong as many of the other combatants.

When out of his home within view of the public, he is often seen carrying two domestic cats that bear similiar sizes and shapes, the only difference being one is completely white furred while the other is completely black furred. They both have sparkling green eyes just like their owner, and according to some witnesses, there were times when both Lo-Ruhamah and the cats blinked their eyes in unison! Lo-Ruhamah named his cats "Yin" and "Yang" in respective to the color of their furs, but those weren't their real names. Lo-Ruhamah calls them by their real names only in the secrecy and privacy of his home. The man was rarely seen without his two beloved cats, and he would even carry them to the Locker Room! To make things even stranger, both cats have dark green collars with heart-shaped lockets on them, shining silver under the lights. Lo-Ruhamah refused to tell anyone the symbolism behind the two jewels under the necks of his cats, and there was a dark vibe around him that would make just about anyone nervous enough to take his word for it and leave it a secret.

HISTORY

The name Lo-Ruhamah has a meaning in the Hebrew language, "Not Loved" or "Not Pitied". Of course it was not the name that his still-living parents gave him, but rather something he gave himself after the incident that changed his life ten years ago. His real name was Jonathan Aven, and before the "Feline Transformation" as he called it, he was a successful college student in UCLA with double majors of Theology and Philosophy. He was as many students categorized as a book worm, often found in the campus library with his face buried in some book. Though he worked out in the gym enough to tone his body and be healthy, his most often used muscle was his brain, due to his standing in the Top Twenty of his class academically, and was expected to graduate with honors. Because of his focused study on theology, he knew much about the spiritual realms of this world, and even have a huge interest in Occult matters, from White and even Black Magick practices. Despite his intelligence however, he was a loner and very anti-social, being silent and moody. He also had a temper that he sometimes just couldn't control. However, even Jonathan loved someone, a girl that shared his love of philosophy (but not very interested in theology), and he wanted to marry her after a two-year relationship. However, for the most part, the love was based on Jonathan controlling her obsessively...

It was his temper and knowledge of the occult and ancient pagan rites that brought him to the much-regretted Feline Transformation incident.

After the Feline Transformation, Jonathan's life took a dramatic change. The dormitories refused to let him keep the two cats Yin and Yang that he got from the Feline Transformation, but Jonathan found out very quickly that he couldn't concentrate on his studies well when he is even a block away from his cats. If he was a mile away from their presence, then his mind would be so warped and frantic that he could barely think to eat a meal, and couldn't even bring himself to swallow.

In order to continue his studies, he moved from the dorms to a small apartment that accepted his new "pets", but he was so distracted that he quickly fell out of the prestigious Top Twenty of his class and dropped lower than his straight-A's grade standards. The sudden disappearance of Jonathan's girlfriend spurred rumors all across the UCLA campus, destroying what was left of Jonathan's reputation. Finally, just months before he could enter his final year in college, he departed from California and lived alone in Canada close to Vancouver, out of contact with his family. Obviously enough, his cats came with him.

For five months, he worked as a clerk and training instructor in the small town's only gym, but was fired when his two cats (obviously brought with him to work) created too much of a distraction and one too many customers sneezed due to cat allergies. He continued to train in the gym for years afterwards, but with his cats waiting just outside, sitting like live statues with their eyes focusing unblinkingly at their owner from across the windows. The cats rarely make a sound, and some of the other customers were freaked out due to their behavior, but they eventually gotten used to their presence.

Jonathan, now named only as Lo-Ruhamah, worked and toned his muscles, and eventually he turned to studying martial arts, though he was never really all that good on it. He became deeper involved in spiritual and summoning rites in secrecy, and some of the townspeople reported to the police about strange "demonic" moans and howls that were vibrating from the forest where Lo-Ruhamah lived. Strangely however, Lo-Ruhamah focused more on Holy spells, healing his body using his own energy, and use offensive summoning tactics only when necessary. Despite a burning hatred toward the one that cursed him in the Feline Transformation, he can be a rather nice guy... sometimes.

He came to the UCTF with marginal success, but when he won the World Title in March of 2002, he suddenly launched himself to notoritory, holding on to the belt for most of the entire year, making his reign the longest in UCTF World Title history. By the time he finally lost it to Xion, he faded off, having found his rival. After an absence of around a year, he had returned... but why?

SINGLE MOVES

1) Holy Punch: Lo-Ruhamah chants a quick spell that makes his gloved hands glow an angelic light, and pummels the fists to whatever portion of the opponent's body. Like normal punches, but more painful.

2) Rosary Kick: The leather boots flame bluish white at his own will and he leaps a twirling flying kick at the opponent, the flames leaving behind a ribbon-type stream behind them till it vanishes a few seconds later.

3) Violet Flames: Lo-Ruhamah utters a spell that provokes a purplish light from within him to appear, and spreads throughout his body for ten seconds. This speeds up his healing process, but during those ten seconds, he would be completely frozen under the effects of the spell, and can only close up flesh wounds, not bind together broken bones. If attacked during those ten seconds, the flame would disappear and he immediately snaps back to his normal self. The spell also saps his stamina, so he rarely used it, and even if he did, he would most often only use it once per match.

4) Feline Slash: Used only as desperate measures, Lo-Ruhamah would quickly establish a direct telepathic link to his black cat "Yin" sitting either in the Locker Room or even among the crowds. This would result in his own fingernails growing rapidly to form feline claws, and use them to slash at the enemy. The claws are as sharp as swords. This is very dangerous due to the telepathic link, and if broken unprepared, would render Lo-Ruhamah paralyzed for up to a precious minute, depending on the level of damage it brought forth upon him. Once the link is broken, whether he wanted to or not, the fingernails grow back to the normal form. If the broken link was intentional, then he won't be paralyzed as a result.

5) Chi Slap: One of his few Black spiritual manuevers, his hands would glow black and used them to slap across the opponent's chest, Ric Flair style.

THROWS AND OTHER MISC. MOVES

1) Purgatory Whip: A throwing manuever in which Lo-Ruhamah grabs the wrist of the opponent, twists it by forcing his body to turn his back against the opponent's back with the arm held above them, and then lurches the arm forward so that the opponent would be reverse-thrown over his shoulder, and land in front of him stomach first with the head toward him. This produce tremendous stress on the arm and wrist of the opponent, and might fracture the wrist (shoulder dislocatement a possibility).

2) Heavenly Step Kick: Lo-Ruhamah vertically leaps onto the opponent, literally walking on his/her body till he is almost above them, and then makes a swift kick to the head, forcing the opponent to slam down to the ground face first.

3) Welcome to Sheol: A standard powerbomb manuever, but his boots would flame black and he leaps vertically higher than what he usually would, and the same flames would thrust him to dive down at a quicker speed, slamming the opponent's head and back on the ground. Sometimes he keeps his hold on the opponent and repeats the move two more times.

4) Light for the Blind: Used purely as a distraction tool, Lo-Ruhamah would illunimate his entire body and create a flash, blinding the opponent for a few precious seconds. Often seen as a cheap shot, but it somewhat saps his stamina.

5) Armageddon Glare: Lo-Ruhamah's eyes would turn bright green and shoots out two green lasers at the opponent, usually at the feet. If done accurately, it would sting the opponent (not burn).

6) False Idol: Performs a spell that makes two exact clones of Lo-Ruhamah (each controlled by either one of the cats), which can move "at their own will". Used as a distraction tool, and it lasts usually for up to three minutes.

FINISHING MOVES

1) Surrender Your Soul: A submission manuever. When the opponent is lying on the ground, Lo-Ruhamah would raise his arms like a priest or summoner and actually makes the opponent's body to float up. Then when the body is at eye-level with Lo-Ruhamah, he would focus his mind to bend the body in such a way that the body was not meant to be bent. Continue at this pace until the opponent screams to end the match. However, this manuever saps a good deal of stamina, so the opponent can survive this manuever... if held out long enough till Lo-Ruhamah is too tired to continue and lets go of him/her.

2) Say Your Prayers: Lo-Ruhamah locks the opponent up from behind, then make three bruising suplexes in a row. Then with the arms still locked around the opponent, his entire body would glow white and black blending in with each other like mist, and after a few seconds, the "mist" would quickly infilterate the opponent's body through the interlock arms, and attack the nervous system. The opponent would (hopefully) be convulsing in shock and becomes temporarily paralyized. As a finishing touch, he swiftly turns the opponent around and makes a belly-to-belly suplex slam.

3) Final Judgment: While close to one of the corners of the ring, Lo-Ruhamah kicks the opponent on the stomach, then executes a double-arm DDT. While the opponent is on the floor stunned, he jumps onto the top corner of the ring and leaps down onto the opponent with a moonsault as his whole body illunimates with a white light to pack more dynamite in the move.

WEAKNESSES

His cats, plain and simple. Lo-Ruhamah and his cats share a common bond and telephathic link amongst each other, and although he could use that to his benefit, the link is first and foremost a curse to him. If Yin or Yang becomes sick, he becomes sick. If Yin steps on something sharp, Lo-Ruhama would feel a pain on his foot, etc. etc. If the cats become harmed, then Lo-Ruhama would definitely know about it, even if they were away from his presence. He wished that this kind of weakness would disappear once the curse is gone, but it remained with him.

Also, he has above average stamina, but he's not perfect in that field, and some of his moves are energy-sappers. In an hour-long Ironman match, he might lose due to exhaustion.
