The Indian Ornamental is an arboreal spider and live in the forests of southeast India, living in tree hollows and behind loose tree bark. These animals are very quick and unpredictable, therefore should not be handled. Unfortunately wild populations of this and other species of Poecilotheria are fading fast and given time could be non existent in the wild altogether. Full growth (legspan) about 8 inches |
