Capitol
celebrated its 1,000th episode in February, 1986.
To commemorate the occasion a special celebration attended by fans and
cast
was held on the lawns of CBS Television City, where the show was taped.
As part of the festivities, the cast released 1,000 red, white and blue
helium-filled balloons. One of the balloons contained a $1,000 cash
certificate which the lucky finder could redeem at the Capitol offices.
The cast members and fans alike all had a great time on this memorable
day. |
