Los Angeles County Sheriff Department Unit Identification System

 

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s uses up to a three part unit identification system. The first number indicates the station, the second identifies the unit type, and the third (if there is one) indicates the unit number.

NOTE: this page is a work in progress. Stations and sub-stations are correct, however the patrol areas are still a work in progress.

*Patrol Area: this is the area the unit patrols when not on a call, the unit may be outside of its patrol on a call.
