Acknowledgements

We wish to acknowledge the assistance, advice and encouragement which has been given to Busnet Computer Club Inc, (formerly Busselton Seniors Computer Club), since its inception.

First and foremost, our thanks must go to Progress Rural Western Australia, for their generous grant which they made to enable us to participate in their Bushnet Community of Interest Web Site Development Program. Without the "Bushnet" grant, we could not possibly have had our web site up and running.

Many thanks also to The Department For Veteran Affairs for their generous grant which enabled us to obtain items which would have remained out of our reach for some considerable time. We had nothing except enthusiasm prior to obtaining it.

Portions of the grant were used for the purchase of modern computer equipment over time and has been greatly appreciated by members. The grant gave the club a much needed "shot in the arm" when it was most needed. Once again, our heartfelt thanks.

Our thanks go also to Lesley Jackes, formerly of GTC (which is, sadly, no longer in existence), who lent her professional expertise to the formulation of our applications for the grants, one of which has made this site possible.

We also owe much to Judith (Jude) Sanders (also then with GTC), who was our mentor during the forming of our club and during the early years of its existence.
We probably would not have succeeded, during those early years, without Jude's firm guidance.

In later years, we give thanks for the assistance we have been given by Microsoft, who have supplied the club with software at very cheap rates through the Microsoft Donor Programme, their representatives in Australia being Donortec.

Our latest grant has come in January, 2012, from Lottery West, an amount which will enable the club to purchase two Apple computers, which will broaden our horizons considerably as we have alway previously been limited entirely to the use of Windows machines. Upwards and onwards, I say!
