About Welcome to Mode Warp, the fanlisting for Betterman. In the near future, a new threat to humanity rears its head: Algernon. It is unknown if Algernon is a virus, or some new life form, or just a form of natural selection. The only thing that is known is that people are dying, and something must be done. Mode Warp, an orginization devoted to solving Algernon's mysteries, contracts Akamatsu Industries to help them. Akamatsu develops a type of mecha called a Nurenoid, that can only be piloted by special psychics called Dual Kinds. Mode Warp and Akamatsu try to identify and contain Algernon, but they are not alone. There is another working to destroy Algernon. One that has existed for since the dawn of time in myth and legend, in shadows and rumors. One who may hold the key to the future of mankind. One known as... Betterman. A fanlisting is a list of fans for a particular movie, book, TV series, comic, or just about anything else you can think of.
