OPERATION: ZOO (Zoologically Obsessed Octogenarian) mini-synopsis: the KND are put in a children's zoo. summary: Numbuh One is invited to a children's zoo by a mysterious woman dressed in black, who introduces herself as Mrs. Goodwall. he wisely declines (she has a tail, after all) and returns to the others in the treehouse, but soon they are all hit with tranquilzer darts and forcibly taken to the zoo. unfortunately, they find themselves on the wrong side of the bars. the "children's zoo" turns out to be a zoo where all kinds of children are exhibited: gossips, nerds, ugly children, etc. the KND have been put in the "obnoxious brats" cage. even better, they are going to be fed to the schoolyard bully in the bully pen for lunch! (i would think their main prey should be nerds, but no matter.) they find next to them, in the "delightfully charming children" cage, the Delightful Children From Down the Lane. after some attempts to escape from the cage themselves, the KND decide that the only way to escape is for them to work together. Numbuh Five comes up with an idea using the gramophone in the DCFDTL's cage and tire swing in the KND's. (like a young, female MacGyver, she is.) the plan works, and the KND immediately go to release the other kids. the DCFDTL, meanwhile, immediately go to double-cross the KND. Mrs. Goodwall comes to intervene in their escape, but fortunately she's trampled down by a herd of escaping kids. being a zookeeper is a dangerous job. quotable quotes: Mrs. Goodwall: "adults are fascinated by children, but they're far too wild to keep in their house. having them caged here allows adults to have time to spend with children without worrying about being bitten!" bizarro's blathering: i guess the delightful children really are evil--trying to destroy the KND with a giant robot is one thing, but double-crossing...now that's just wrong. |
