OPERATION: TEETH (Tooth Extracting Enemy Terrorizes Headquarters) mini-synopsis: the KND are attacked by a renegade dentist summary: on the way back to the treehouse from the candy store, Numbuh Three's teeth are whitened against her will. the KND are uncertain who this new enemy is, but one thing is certain, says Numbuh One: "we need more candy". they head for the candy store, avoiding Dr. Teef, the local dentist on the way, and are greeted by Mr. Jelly, the candy store owner, who helps them stock up on candy and sends them on their way. but when they return to the treehouse, they are attacked once again by the renegade dental hygienist, who leaves behind the threatening note: "brush after meals and snacks or else" and signs it "Knightbrace". of course this means war, and the KND bring the battle to Knightbrace, eventually ending up in a dental office. they finally defeat and unmask him, to find that he is not the dentist Dr. Teef, but the candy store owner Mr. Jelly (gasp, shock) who always wanted to be a dentist but was rejected for his radical ideas. the mystery solved, the KND walk off to rot their teeth as they please. quotable quotes: "dental floss! it's cleaning their gums and there's nothing they can do about it!" --Numbuh One "four out of five dentists may not be able to beat you kids next door, but i'm the fifth!" --Mr. Jelly (a.k.a. Knightbrace) bizarro's blathering: it always amused me that when the KND arrived back from the candy store to see Numbuh Four had been bound and "bracified" that they all gasped in horror, but none of them made a move to help him out. Numbuh One just calmly strolled over to read the note that had been tagged to him.... |
