OPERATION: QUIET (Quietude Unlikely In Entire Treehouse)

mini-synopsis: Numbuh One is exhausted, but everyone and their grandma comes to interrupt his sleep.

summary:

Numbuh One has been awake for six days straight(!), working on the Treehouse Defense Array, a project he has recently won an award for. he will be presented with the award the following day, and Numbuh Five, seeing him exhausted, scolds him for not taking better care of himself and puts him to bed. she then tells the other KND to keep quiet so he can sleep. this is easier said than done. not only do they face technical difficulties (the tv's volume is blasting and no one can find the remote, the Defense Array is off, and when they try to turn it on, it loudly demands a password that only Numbuh One has) but the Treehouse is besieged with unwanted visitors. Lizzie shows up, wanting to go on a date with Numbuh One (this problem is solved by putting Numbuh Four in his Numbuh One outfit from CANNON), Laura, a.k.a. Big Badolescent (from CAKED) is selling cookies, and has a fit when she is turned away, the Common Cold shows up, as does Stickybeard and Prof. XXXL. Pandemonium ensues, and Numbuhs Two through Five do everything they can to keep them quiet.

they seem to have the situation under control until the very end, when the Toiletnator comes to ambush Numbuh One, but Numbuh Five thinks fast and throws Prof. XXXL's perfect snow cone (what a waste!) under his feet, and the Toiletnator slips, leaving Numbuh One unharmed. of course the thing that finally wakes Numbuh One is Numbuh Five saying "man, that was close!" and Numbuh One sticks his head out the bedroom door to reprimand her. harsh!

bizarro's blathering: seeing villains from past episodes return to cause trouble again was great.
this episode features the first glimpse we get of the KND Moonbase. and everyone knows that moonbases are kick-ass cool.
did anyone else think that Numbuh Four did a *really good* job of imitating Numbuh One's voice? perhaps that was the point, as he needed to fool Lizize, but it would have been funny if he had put on a bad, cockney accent and said, "'ow you doin' guv'nor?" but maybe that's just me.
