OPERATION: LICE (Lice Interrupt Cheese Eating)

mini-synopsis: KND headquarters become infested with freakishly large lice.

summary:

Numbuh Five has infiltrated the DCFDTL's mansion, and is making a break for it. she encounters the DCFDTL, who sic their living, flaming (no, not that "flaming") armor, "Sir Toasty" on her, who she evades fairly easily, using a fire extinguisher's emission to help launch her over Sir Toasty and towards the exit. a barrier falls to block her way, but she dives for it, making it through just in time, even managing to save her hat in the process. but it turns out not to be her real hat, as we see the DCFDTL holding it and laughing evilly.

Numbuh Five returns to the treehouse, where the other KND wait around for her return, then promptly dig in when she delivers her stolen loot--tortilla chips, which they needed to compliment their nacho cheese. the celebration is cut short, however, when a giant louse bursts from Numbuh Five's hat and runs off. the now mostly-bald Numbuh Five realizes too late that the hat was not her own, and Numbuh One makes the observation, "these lice are hungry for hair!" next to fall victim to the hair-eating lice are Numbuh Three's collection of stuffed animals, and she vows revenge. due to a fortunate accident, the KND find the lice's weakness--nacho cheese. they fashion 2x4 technology, made to discharge cheese and therefore fight the lice, which have multiplied rapidly. unfortunately, their supply in the kitchen is low, so they must travel to the cheese repository on level 67 of the treehouse to get enough to wipe out all of them. as they travel to the cheese room, the KND fall one by one to the lice, until only Numbuhs One and Five are left. they finally make it to the cheese room, where Numbuh One sets the pumps to flood the entire treehouse with cheese, but is attacked by the queen louse before he can set it off. Numbuh Five, in a similar move she carried out when she avoided Sir Toasty, launches over the queen louse with the help of her cheese weapon, and after some minor distractions from Numbuh Two, (who runs in just in time to attempt to give advice on a cool dispatching line) sets off the cheese, and all is well. After the KND get revenge on the DCFDTL, of course.
