OPERATION: COWGIRL (Crazy Old Woman Goes Increasingly Really Loco) mini-synopsis: the KND encounter Lasso Lass, a geriatric cowgirl who hasn't let go of her childhood. summary: the KND are being pursued by Wink and Fibb, having stolen a "dome" from them. but then the KND are "rescued" by a mysterious stranger and brought back to her headquarters, a dilapidated treehouse. she introduces herself as Lasso Lass, the "rootin' tootinest, shoot-em-up hootinest adult fightin' cowgirl this side of the mississippi!" she is the last member of the Cowboy Kids Club, (not counting her horse, Clip-Clop) and not surprisingly, as she herself appears to be in her sixties. she tries to get the KND to reform the cowboy kids club, but Numbuh One strongly objects, as she is an adult herself. much yelling ensues, and it ends with Numbuh One challenging Lasso Lass to get the dome they had tried to obtain before she came and interfered. she accepts, but is captured by Wink and Fibb. the KND go to rescue her, cobbling together Lasso Lass' old equipment to form 2x4 technology, but they are ultimately defeated by Wink and Fibb in their "super chair" (are these guys ever seen without a giant animatronic chair?) the "dome" is opened, revealing it to be a container for Fibb's hairpiece. when he puts it on, Lasso Lass recognizes him a former team member of the Cowboy Kids Club, Six Shootin' Timmy. all ends well when Lasso Lass chases Fibb off, threatening to give him a kiss, and Wink flees in terror from Clip-Clop's amorous advances. *cough* unfortunately the KND are left hanging upside-down over a vat of boiling liquid.... quotable quotes: for some reason i'm drawing a blank. the only one that sticks out in my mind is "yes, Clip-Clop, it's me, John." --Mr. Wink. lol! bizarro's blathering: the ever-present question of "what is up with Wink and Fibb??" continues to be a distraction. why do they look like that? why do they refer to each other as Mr. Wink and Mr. Fibb? what *exactly* is their relationship? apparently Fibb was interested in Lasso Lass at one point, but certainly not anymore.... |
