(a.k.a. Kuki Sanban)

she has been called the operative of "diversionary tactics" but we have yet to see what this entails. her real purpose seems to be making airhead comments.

nationality: Japanese (presumably born there, though this is unconfirmed)

family (who has appeared on the show): mother, mentioned, not seen (see OFFICE--thanks to Numbuh 727 for pointing this one out to me!). a younger sister, Mushi, (see SPACE)

likes: stuffed animals, especially rainbow monkeys, anything cute and furry, and her sister.

dislikes: anything that hurts the things she likes (see LICE, RAINBOWS)

the best lines of the show will inevitably come from numbuh three, not because they're particularly clever, but simply because she seems to be off in a world of her own most of the time, and whatever she says seems so completely out there!
we discover in season two that Numbuh Three is indeed the caretaker of all the hamsters (see GHOST) and knows each one by name! man, that's a lot of hamsters to clean up after.... Numbuh Three celebrates her birthday in FASTFOOD, leading to the conclusion that she is the youngest member of the team (presumably having just turned 10, rather than turning 11. it'd be funny if it turned out she was the oldest! :P)
