Codename: Kids Next Door Season Two Reviews
< bizarro's intro > this section features reviews by Numbuh 65, since bizarro is not a privileged Canadian, and must wait until October 3 to see second season of KND on Cartoon Network with the rest of the deprived Americans.
i suppose this is fairly obvious, but as everything below hasn't been seen yet in the US, they qualify as spoilers! consider yourself warned. i also think one might need to actually see the episodes to get much from these, as they are reviews, and not summaries.
ok, on to the reviews! < end bizarro's intro >
Operation: C.A.T.S. (Crazy Aged Tyrant Stinks)
Mission Grade: C+
Comments: I liked how the coupling between Numbuh 3 & 4 worked. I mean, it was all over a fluffy cat. The new KND technology was introduced was C.A.T.A.P.H.L.U.N.K. I don't know its full name. Its 3 launches were crazy. The only thing I don't like, and this is a side note, are CATS. I'm allergic to them!
Operation: P.O.P (Pre-teens Oppose Prohibition)
Mission Grade: C
Comments: The beginning of the episode began in a bar or a club. Also, there was some stuff that looked like "Escape from L.A." However, I wanna ask you this. How the heck will the kids breathe in a bottle?! Also, wouldn't Mr. Fizz (the villain here) get "high" off the pop? Finally, at ANY age, children are allowed to drink soda.
Operation: S.P.A.N.K. (Sore Posteriors Annoy Naughty Kids)
Mission Grade: B
Comments: I like the mini-story on how Count Spankulot's kid-spanking days are over. I also laughed out loud when he smacked Mr. Fibb & Mr. Wink! The blackout at the end reminded me of Akuma's Shungokusatsu attack. Spankulot spanked the KND after he found out about their plan to get rid of him (Nice job Numbuh 3!)
Operation: D.A.T.E. (Dance Actually Threatens Everyone)
Mission Grade: B
Comments: I like how the "relationship" between Numbuh 1 and Lizzie deepened. I've always felt like this when I was around girls. Anyhow, the "known" couples (2/5 & 3/4) were grouped up for the DCFDTL party. I like that.
Operation: S.U.P.P.O.R.T. (Special Underwear Protection Proportedly Outfits Rotten Teenagers)
Mission Grade: B+
Comments: This was cool! I liked how Cree (Numbuh 5's sister) was like. I even like her "fake" beatings on her dad just because of a stupid bra. The way Numbuhs 1 & 2 used L.U.N.C.H.B.O.C.K.S. works. I never knew that a bra can be armourous. I even liked the surprise ending! (I'm not spoiling it, either!)
Operation: T.A.P.I.O.C.A. (Teens And Pudding Inconvenience Our Childish Agents)
Mission Grade: C
Comments: Numbuh 2's mini-stories were like in a wide-screen movie presentation. That's the only thing that turned me on. Somehow, I don't see why seniors use "Anti-Aging Cream" to transform into teenagers. Overall, it was good.
Operation: S.H.A.V.E. (Southern Hair Attacks Virtually Everyone)
Mission Grade: A+!
Comments: Everyone read and believed that this mission was about Numbuh 1's hair before he shaved it off. Boy, everyone was WRONG! The fact that everyone (even kids and girls!) have mustaches slays me! Look at Numbuh 3 for instance! I even liked the plot twist at the bitter end! (No way I'm spoiling that, either!)
Operation: O.O.M.P.P.A.H. (Obnoxious Overzealous Male Parent Plays Annoying Horn)
Mission Grade: B-
Comments: Another Numbuh 1-centric mission. However, it really focuses on his father (who sounded like actor who portrays Gimli in the Lord of the Rings movies [John Rhys-Davies]). The tuba playing reminded me of my baritone-playing days. I mean, I can't forget that in Grade 7.

Codename: Numbuh 65

Age: 16 (about 3 yrs over KND age limit according to #1)
Birthplace: San Salvador, El Salvador
Hometown: Toronto, Ontario, Canada
Languages Spoken: English, Spanish & Japanese
Favourite Video Game Characters:
1. Mario (Any Nintendo-made game)
2. Sonic The Hedgehog (Any Sonic game)
3. Ryu (Street Fighter)
Likes: video games, anime, writing stories (any genre)
Dislikes: Cats ('cause I'm allergic to them!)
I am just a plain kid/teenager. I play hockey, some soccer, and any other sport that interests me. When I'm on a mission, I battle any enemy with my "Shotokan Karate" skills. On some missions, I am stealthy and quiet. I have an older brother, and a younger sister. I am like Numbuh 1 in certain styles because he's a leader, and he always does his best to get a mission done.
