Please heed the ratings on the stories.
Modus Vivendi by wiseacress (Spike/Xander, NC-17)

I've been in two minds about whether to rec this or not. On the one hand, it's so well written--the plot sucks you in and won t let you go. On the other hand, I'm not entirely sure that I really like the story. I wasn't entirely happy with the second half of the plot, and the resolution left some threds dangling for me. But I've decided that, even if I'm not entirely happy about this story, there are a lot of people who will probably love it--it's just that kind of story.

Xander moves to L.A. and ends up getting involved with Spike. And then they're both in trouble. The dream sequences in this fic are appropriately, and effectively, creepy. And it's a very dark, depressing read. So you've been warned.
Common Ground by Sarah T. (G)

Giles and Dawn's infamous "talk about boys" from "I Was Made to Love You"
Sufficient Champagne by Cynthia Liskow (PG)

Giles and Anya after Grave. Sometimes Anya is the most human of all of them.
Sands of Time by James Walkswithwind and Wolfling (Spike/Xander, PG-13 to NC-17)

AU. The series is a WIP but there are six very long, fairly self-contained stories finished. And you should read this even if it never gets finished--it's worth it. This is one of the stories I read when I need to cheer myself up; it's warm and comforting and fun to read over and over again.
Wesley Rogue Demon by Mad Poetess and James Walkwithwind (Wesley/Gunn, PG-13)

Wesley isn't the man they thought he was...
Working Girl by Mad Poetess (PG)

Of all the barstools in all the world... Xander, post-Chosen.
Choclatey Goodness by Mad Poetess (Spike/Xander, NC-17)

WIP that might never be finished, but it's really good. Spike and Xander are just so much fun to read in this story.
Of Old Mystics by Wolfling and Magpie (Giles/Ethan, NC-17)

Post-Chosen. Giles rescues Ethan from the Initiative. And then a whole lot of other things happen. ...unashamedly romantic in all senses of the word.
Your Horoscope For Today by Anna S. (Spike/Xander, NC-17)

Spike loses his memory. AU set during season 5.
Spike's face was the same luminous white as the marble behind him as he tipped his head and smiled. "Nice to know you're looking out for me, pet." He pitched his cigarette, took a theatrical and mesmerizing step closer. "You always looked out for me?"

His vampire was close now, and Xander felt his heartbeat start to rabbit against his ribs, his throat tighten. "Not so much," he said with an honesty he often regretted. "We used to be mortal foes...mortal foes who shared a room and did each other's laundry, but still."
Sidelines by Anna S. (Spike/Xander, NC-17)

AU of season 4; basically a series of scenes. Spike and Xander are very much themselves.
The Adventures of Hopalong Peter by Cici (Spike/Xander, NC-17)

Spike and Xander go to Vegas.
Loserville by Shrift (SPike/Xander, NC-17)

Welcome to Loserville. Population: two.
Big Rock Candy Mountain by Basingstoke (Andrew/Giles, Andrew/other, unrated)

She has Andrew's speech patterns down cold.
"I am very sorry, Angel also known as Angelus, but I cannot be a part of your evil scheme to destroy the world," Andrew says.
Five Things That Never Happened to Andrew Wells. Long and really, really good; the five things are all connected to make one story.
