Mid West Western Australia and the Wildflowers: The Midwest region lies north of Perth, stretching from the coast, across inland Western Australia, and as the name suggests, it is the middle region of the state. The midwest is reknowned for its botanical richness. It comes to life with the most amazing shows of native flora with masses of Western Australian wildflowers blooming during certain seasons to form carpets of colour. There is however another side to this Western Australia floral region, it also offers some interesting cliff faces for abseiling and rock climbing, or you can enjoy the coastal areas for swimming and great fishing spots.
