so often i think of you
and all the times we shared
and my heart is filled
with thankfulness
to have a friend
who cared

I have been thinking
lately
of how much you have
touched my life
of how dear you are to me

so i wanted you to know
for though we are miles
and miles apart

that subtle love
between two friends
