The Final Battle

The city of Taejon, alongside some other more fortunate cities of the world, was evacuated. Everyone and their children and pets were evacuated out of harms way. From here though, things will get worse. No matter how much she drew, read, watched movies or spent time with her dogs and father, Yuma was greatly concerned for Samael’s well-being.

“Please Samael. Please save us!” She thought to herself.

Outside the safe hold,  Samael prepared himself for the most decisive battle he has yet to face. This time, it won’t be so easy. “This is for you Jierra!”

With that thought, Samael has grown into his giant dragon form and was ready to attack his longtime nemesis and hopefully re-unite with Jierra. Over the horizons, he finally saw Maniyu coming his way, ready to battle.

“Samael, my dear…..” Maniyu said insincerely. “…..Why wouldn’t you serve me once more? Jierra is serving me you know.”

“No she isn’t you liar! I know Jierra and she would never serve you, even if you were the only surviving god.”

Maniyu started to foam at his monstrous mouth. “Okay, you wanna fight to the finish do ya?”

Samael did not reply, but instead, he fought back by summoning a laser beam through the gem on his chest, hitting Maniyu between the eyes. But Maniyu had other plans as well, ramming and head-butting Samael until he fell, causing the ground to quake.

“Samael!” Yuma screeches in the evacuation area, watching the monitors that filmed all the action outside. As the ground started to shake, she held onto the wall tightly until it stopped.

On the ground outside, Samael started to sink his sharp, dragon teeth into Maniyu’s ankle bones. In pain, bleeding black blood, Maniyu sends a heat wave attack that made the dragon fly out of the air and crash into some skyscrapers, causing all of them to tumble over. Samael retorts by sending a wave of energy into the glass sharp rubble and sent all of the shards flying towards Maniyu, making open wounds in his exoskeleton. Now was the chance for the Korean ROK military to take action.

“Remember to aim at the evil reddish brown monster and spare the dragon. Understand?” The commander told the troops from his safe hold.

“Yes sir, all right sir!” The soldiers in their tanks and jets replied to the message, sending diffuser missiles and other military weapons at Maniyu. Though accurate with the targets, it only just made things worse and angered the evil god.

“You……..” Maniyu roared as he stomps the ground hard, causing a massive shockwave. The army tanks rolled over like toys in a bathtub and blew up. However the Jets were still flying around, distracting Maniyu and giving Samael a chance to fight.

“This is for Jierra!” Samael wails out, sending a great breath of light blue fire out at Maniyu, igniting the cruel being from all over. In a mad rage to get back at his foe, Maniyu sends a ball of pure electricity to blow off Samael’s left arm and wounding his wings.

“SAMAEL! NO!!!” Yuma cried out at the safe hold area. A young man about two years older than Yuma tried to comfort the distressed young woman.

“Don’t worry young lady. The monster may thing of a way to retort to his injury.” He told Yuma.

“I can just only hope.” Yuma sighs. “If this keeps up, we may all be destroyed and there will be nothing left.”

“Eh, just to take your mind off of all this, want to watch some movies? I have a portable DVD player.”

“Okay, just as long as it takes my mind off of all this madness.” Yuma replies, putting in some of her favorite movies.

Outside, Taejon is in ruins and both Samael and Maniyu were bleeding heavily and gasping. Samael was in tatters, no left arm, injured wings and tail, what could possibly go wrong now?

“Samael!” A voice rang out. From Maniyu’s cranium, Jierra comes tearing right out and holds up her black pearly talisman. “Ready?”

Samael searches his dismembered left hand and finds his pearly white talisman. At least not all is lost. “Ready, at last!”

Samael and Jierra hold up their talismans, finally reuniting one with the other. As they re-united, beams of dark and light energy flows from it.

“NO! This cannot be!” Maniyu cries out in terror as he was evaporating into ash and dust. As the beams started to calm down, a wind was summoned to blow away Maniyu’s dusty remains until there was nothing left.

“I thought I would never see this day.” Samael sighs in relief, as he and Jierra de-materialized from this world once more.
