Samael felt horrible inside and out. He lost his talisman twice already, no thanks to his cruel former master, whom has ran off again, only to secretly stalk him and Jierra. Only if the two sacred talismans would re-unite with each other, something spectacular would happen in both the surface worlds and the netherworld. But it would be only a matter of time when this would happen.
Thoughts started to race through Samael's head like a windmill. "Jierra, what would happen if our two figures re-united?"
"I am not sure....." Jierra answered, sighing. "....all I know is that long ago, the figures were one, a sacred object made of divine shell that balances the surface worlds and our netherworld, both heaven and hell. But one fateful day, they were shattered into two pieces, and both were separated far away from each other in two corners of one of the surface worlds. I know why some people would want these objects, but then how would true harmony exist?"
"Ah, okay. Now I know what we need to do." Just as Samael was talking with his loved one, he saw a brilliant white streak shining on the ground, like a small shiny pebble in the vast ocean. But the shining was very brilliant, almost like a second sun was on the planet. "Jierra.....is.....that.......?"
"I think that maybe........"
"JIERRA! COME, PLEASE!" Samael interrupts as he flies quickly down to the shining object. His heart started to pound with anticipation as he tries to fly as fast as he could, with Jierra following him.
"Wait! Samael....!" Jierra cries out as she follows Samael, but he was flying too fast for her. However, it did not stop her from following her mate. The object was shining brighter than before, enticing the Akuma to come down godspeed. He was feeling a little tired, but that did not stop him from reaching the object. As he finally lands on a nearby statue, he saw that the object was indeed his white talisman. But why was it in such a peculiar area?
"Yes! Its here." Samael glides down from the statue and to the object. As Samael grabs the object, Jierra finally comes, looking slightly panicked.
"Wait Samael, ITS A TRAP!" Jierra cries out. "Someone set this up for us!"
And just as Samael attempts to fly away with his talisman, big tusk-like bars surround him, trapping the hapless Akuma. "Dammit! Not again!"
He tried everything. Samael tried hacking at the bars with blades he materialized, but that did not work. He tried moving the bars, but they were too strong and did not budge one bit.
"Wait, I have an idea." Jierra exclaims. She materializes daggers with her light magick and started to hack away at the bars. It works, but it worked a little too good though. As the bars landed point first, Samael was thrown with such force and skidded all the way down the rocky hills. Jierra tried to keep close track of her mate, but the hill looked quite steep, like the side of a mountain. "Now what?"
As she flies down the side, she notices a pearly white trail, indicating where Samael has fallen. She follows it all the way down until she comes across an unconscious little dragon. As she holds the little black dragon in her arms, she notices a distinct character on its forehead, a mark that distinguished it from other small dragons.
"Samael? Is that you?" She said to the dragon, trying to wake it up. As the little dragon's eyes opened, she noticed that it had pure crimson eyes, an instant give a way. "Samael, it is you!"
"Oh, wondering about the way I am?" Samael asks. "I decided to take on my small winged dragon form to avoid any serious injury. The worst I have gotten was minor fleshwounds and.......and......"
"Oh no, not again!" Jierra sighs, knowing what he was trying to say. "I am so sorry about this.......if you only slowed down, I could have told you......"
"No Jierra, it's my fault. Only if I was more careful......"
Jierra started to look around, having the suspicious feeling that she was being watched. "Here, let's go. I have a feeling Maniyu is stalking us like always."
As she started to fly away with dragon Samael in her arms, Maniyu opens his eyes once more, and spots the Tianshi trying to get away.
