Years have passed since the Ark went up in flames and when the corrupted fire dragon was slayed. Samael went back to the area to see if the ruined mast was still there. Indeed their was, but it was in too many broken pieces, thus assuming that plunderers came by and stripped the ares for parts and valuables.
"Oh, it's so hopeless." Samael sighed. As he started to stretch his wings, he saw something that was not there before. It was small, had the appearance of the "Mother of Pearl" shell and it shone with quite some brilliance. Samael started to approach the object, trying to observe what it was. As he approached that exact area, he saw that the object was surrounded by platinum white feathers. Samael felt a divine being was at work here. The object appeared to be a benign and loving face of a beautiful woman. Attached to it, was a message:
Samael,
I have known what you have done. And I understand why too. The reason why you killed my dear Shafan was that it was just for the power of one mad man. He never lets the people like you think what you want to think. You should not give into lord Maniyu at all. He is trully cruel and unjust to everything, even his own race of beings.
However, I can sense that you are sorry for all of this happening, and I forgive you.
Hope to see you again.
Love,
Jierra
And on the back of the pearly talisman, was a picture of Jierra, wearing only a baby pink sash around her hips. Samael started to feel confident again.
"Don't worry Jierra, I won't let you down." Samael says, flying off with the pearly talisman in his hand.
Meanwhile, in a land not so far away, Jierra herself was sitting calmly near a pond, hoping for Samael to come. Thought sad for Prince Shafan's death, and uncertain of his fate in his next life, she started to become deep in thought. Both her parents knew the Empress Aquna and her mother was her top paladin. Ever since Jierra and Shafan knew each other as children, their parents arranged them to be married one day. However, Jierra had mixed feelings. She liked Prince Shafan, but she also like Samael a bit more, even felt sorry for him. For Samael has been orphaned for a long time and was an easy target for the more evil of Akuma to take advantage of him, especially Maniyu, the corrupt leader. Jierra knew that Samael was treated like a puppet, she knew that he really did not mean to kill Prince Shafan. He had very little control and even if he did have enough control, Maniyu would label him as a fugitive.
She sighed a little, holding a talisman similar to Samael's, only it was Abalone instead of Mother of Pearl. She closed her eyes and waited. "Please come Samael. There is no one else I have besides you."
So as Jierra ponders, Samael followed the trail of feathers, picking up her presence. As he followed the trail, he was greeted by the one he was searching for in a long time.
"Jierra?"
"Samael?"
"Is that you?" Samael asked, feeling a bit anticipated.
"By the gods, it is you! It is you, Samael!" Jierra cheers out, embracing Samael. “I thought you would never come.”
The two embraced each other, both fluttering over the cool pond water. Both Samael and Jierra were staring eye to eye with each other, smiling and looking content. Suddenly, Jierra’s flesh started to give off a soft, radiant glow, as if she were thawing out the frozen feelings that Samael had. He thought it was such a wonderful feeling for him, wishing that his mate would warm him up. Jierra then started to tickle Samael’s chest with her tongue, reaching every pale bit. Both of the creatures started to breathe rather heavily, feeling some great pleasure.
“I never want to take my eyes off of you.” Samael said softly.
“Same here Samael.”
As the two were getting close to one another, a big blast interrupted their peace time. What could have been the meaning of this rude interruption?
