INTRO
This story you are about to read has some contents that may be questionable to some people. I am in no way trying to insult anyone’s faith, in fact, I am a researcher of various Mythology and Folklore of the world.
“The Journey of Samael” depicts both the Tianshi, which is Chinese for “Angels” and the “Akuma”, which is Japanese for “Demons” and yet mentions more than one god and acts of fantasy as well. You have to understand that the author of this story (me) is NOT a satanist or involved in some cult, and do not wish to insult anyone's faith. This story is just for recreational purposes.
All character in this story are owned by me, Mayu. Do not use any of them without my permission!
And now, the Journey shall begin…….
Painful Memories
Memories flashed by him. Memories of a great war that took place in the Netherworld. It was a war between Yin and Yang. Their were two beings of the Netherworld: The wild Akuma and the calm Tianshi.
The Akuma were the beings of Yin, the ones whom were more hot headed and unpredictable creatures. The Tianshi, on the other hand, were beings of Yang and were more calmer and tranquil than their counterparts. The Tianshi were the children of Chalkydri, the son of the Sun Goddess, and the Akuma were the children of Rahim, the son of the Moon Goddess. Though the sister goddesses gotten along with each other, their children did not, in fact, one of them even separated the Netherworld in two sectors: Jigoku and Ten, with the Neutral world in between and the surface world above.
Tension was building between the two areas after many centuries. Mainyu, the rebellious leader of Jigoku, started to interrupt the peace of Ten, the Neutral world and the Surface world. He started to pillage and plunder the worlds, caused crops to fail, caused mass droughts, caused insanity in the hearts of the living and souls. Mainyu was even feared by his own clan. If there was a refusal to obey or serve every single one of his commands and wishes, Mainyu would even take out the soul of one of his own creatures.
Aquna, the empress of Ten, was struggling for peace as well. She gave her people more freedom and blessed the ones whom served her the power to heal as well as purging bad auras. But no matter how hard which side fought, there were souls lost and the world above and in between was ripped apart. It was like many natural disasters was to take place.
But the one thing this man remembered is how he fought Shafan, the son of Aquna and prince of the Tianshi. They both fought very hard, but that one fateful day, the man's dark powers over came him and he snuffed out most of the life force from Shafan's body in a rather bloody and painful matter. As he heard a feminine voice calling for Shafan, the man dissapears into a cloud of black smoke.
"Shafan? Shafan?" The woman called out. She had long silver-blue hair, deep aqua green eyes, creamy light pink skin and had four platinum wings full of healthy feathers. She was quite beautiful to this man, as he was watching her and Prince Shafan in secret.
"Jierra? Is that you?" Shafan asked in a shaky, weak voice. Jierra started to lightly slap the weak Prince's cheeks.
"Yes Shafan. What happened?"
"A rogue Akuma decided to challenge me to a duel, and out of my own ignorance, I agreed......."
"Why Shafan why?" Jierra cried out. "Why didn't you think about your future? Why didn't you think of me?"
"I......I'm so sorry. I was such a fool." He stuttered. "Please forgive me......"
With those words, Prince Shafan passed out, his cold, lifeless body in Jierra's arms. "Noooooooo! SHAFAN!"
The Tianshi woman just takes Prince Shafan's body, takes out the weakened soul and casts it into the pools of Tianshi souls, ones that have fallen. This was the first time the man felt so guilty and saddened by all of this warfare. This man was not like others like his clan. He may have been Akuma, but he was not so fire-brand or hot headed like the rest of his kin. He was apart of a sub-clan which was long lost.
For this man was Samael. And this is his story.
