It had taken him hours to accomplish, but he had finally managed to, very discretely, check everyone's quarters, in fact so discretely that not even andromeda herself knew what he'd been up to, just as well considering.
As he walked onto the Maru, Beka pounced on him, "Well anything?" she demanded.
In response to her question Harper dangled a pair of white cotton panties, with pink hearts and bows on them, in the air, "these what your looking for? Very cute Boss, I never had you down for cute knickers, more something in black, silk maybe... ow! no need to snatch" as Beka grabbed the offending item from is grasp. "Can I help you put them on? The thought of your ass with all those cute little hearts...." he tailed off, ducking just in time as Beka threw a handy wrench at him. "Ok, ok, I'm sorry, I'll stop" he promised.
"Hmm.... Beka didn't sound convinced but continued, "so are you going to tell me who had them then?" she noticed an uncomfortable look flash across Harpers face, and trying to reassure him continued, "come on tell me, I'm not going to make a fuss, I'll handle it tactfully, I promise."
He still looked doubtful, but finally admitted "Rommie had them, actually she has lots. I think they were all yours, at least they were all really cute." He grinned at Beka's scowl, "I think she maybe curious about 'things', Dylan told me she's been asking questions!"
During his last sentence Beka had got a look on her face that Harper had never seen before, but he was very glad he wasn't the one with Beka's underwear.
"Just how fully did you design Rommies body, is she fully functional?" Beka asked him
"She can do anything a human can do and more." He replied proudly.
"Everything??" stressed Beka
"Oh... Yeah... Everything... Why'd you ask" Harper stuttered
"Just useful to know, I'm going to reclaim my property" she told him over her shoulder as she left the Maru and headed towards Rommies quarters
