This story starts during the early second season of Andromeda but goes off on its own AU tangent considerably before "Ouroboros." The last episode of which there is any mention is "The Prince." I started writing this story about Dec. 26, 2001, and finished it on February 9, 2002, with rewriting during the following week.
I'm grateful beyond words to Aukestrel, Sihaya, Rowan and Kalena, who sent encouragement, asked questions and gave me valuable feedback as I sent them daily sections of Tyr's adventures, and most of all to Aukestrel, who reread the whole thing afterward with the attention of a saint. Any errors remaining must be mine alone.
I heartily dislike the current convention of rating written material (fanfic) as if it were visual material (movies). For the record, this is slash; it's Tyr/Harper, with a bit of Tyr/Charlemagne, Harper/other, and some that aren't easily described by the slash system. I don't own the characters (and no, I really don't want the Shaperans, you're welcome to them) and I'm not getting anything out of this except the fun of writing it.
