Okay, this won't make any sense unless you're a member of the Slipstream BBS.  Luzmaria mentioned an insomnia-induced crossover idea she'd had with the Monkees and drom and it got me in a filking mood.  I filked the chorus on her LiveJournal and she went and got a link to the original lyrics for me.  At that point all common sense left the room...
